at what point in life do you become a bit of a loser??? is it not going out to have a few drinks because you just don't have any cash to go? or is it when you just don't want to go?

Nope, you possibly might have reached a bit of a loser status if you had no money AND no one invited you out for drinks... so you're fine.
good...i was worried there for a minute that i've been living some sort of monastic existence
Not losery until you substitute going out and drinking with laundry and bleaching the grout in the tub.
