so what has been going on! well, i spent all last week being sick as a dog! it was horrible. cough, sneezes, stuffy head and clogged sinuses - oy!!!! and this week i started interview new potential roommates. i had one stop by tonight, and she was really nice. now if i can find someone for the other room, that would be awesome. i'm still looking, so if you know someone, send them my way!any big plans for the holiday weekend?? i don't have any either except for a bbq on sunday. but if you're near me, give a holla, let's do something.and as of this posting i can give a cheer for the yanks. let's hope they keep this up.
know what really stinks...having a cold when it's 80 degrees outside. you can't enjoy the weather, cuz your whole head is stuffed up, and you have a scratchy throat. but on the bright side, you get to take a sick day.
so it's been like forever since the last post, and i apologize. i've been busy. between work and getting my lazy butt to the gym a few times a week, i haven't been doing all that much. work is going great. i was hired at just the right time. we are expanding our dept, and one of the more senior members of the team moved over to our tech department, so i've moved right up the old production ladder. so that's awesome! and today i garnered my first official digital conversion - we get extra cash if we can convince a journalist to take our content via our digital delivery options rather than on tape. hopefully this is the beginning of some more.i'm still looking for a new roommate. next week i will start the public ads - so if you know of anyone who'd like to live in my place, tell them to get in touch with me! hopefully that will go well.and that's about it. NYC is enjoying a fantastic spring time. so that's great. though my hair is dreading the humidity that will soon show up.what have YOU been up to??
